All India Management Association (AIMA) conducts the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) four times a year. MAT is considered to be one of the most renowned management entrance tests in India for admissions to different MBA/PGDM programs at numerous Top B-schools in India.

In 2018, the next session of MAT 2018 will be held on 2nd September & 15th September for Paper-Based test and 15th September for Computer Based Test.

  • Data Analysis and Sufficiency section can be tricky and a bit time-consuming. However, MBA Aspirants should keep in mind that if questions are attempted with dedication in the section, they can surely score well. Also, aspirants are advised to practice questions that include more calculations and appear online mock tests also.
  • With the analysis of the previous year MAT papers, it is observed that the Aspirants would not face many difficulties in the Intelligence and Critical Reasoning section.
  • MBA Aspirants can practice mainly from Analogies, Directions, Series, blood relations, statements, etc. to score more in Intelligence and Critical Reasoning section.
  • Language Comprehension section includes Jumbled Sentences, Odd one out, Fill in the blanks, Synonyms and Antonyms and Vocabulary and is moderately difficult.
  • The most difficult section is the Mathematical Skills section. This section has also more weightage. MBA Aspirants should practice thoroughly the topics such as percentages, proportions, profit and loss, time and distance etc.
  • The last sectionIndian & Global Environment section is not included in the merit score or composite score but is however important from the view of section-wise qualification.
